Favorite sites?

What's your favorite frugal living, penny pinching, dollar stretching, cheapskate, money saving sites?

I'm asking because we're going to start reviewing sites at the The Dollar Stretcher Community soon.

It doesn't have to be a big site. As a matter of fact, smaller sites stand a better chance of being reviewed because I want to bring people's attention to resources they may not be aware of.

Do you have a frugal site or blog that's worthy of a little more traffic and that provides interesting content? Let me know. If you don't own it, but know about it, let me know, too. You can post it here: Favorite Sites (Besides The Dollar Stretcher!), then watch the forum for the review.

Wouldn't it be cool to have all of the frugal internet sites reviewed? I know... I dream. I do wonder though, how many real frugal sites and blogs there are. Or maybe I don't want to know, going into this project!

  1. Please review "Like Merchant Ships!" Meredith is so wonderful at making her home and life more unique and beautiful through frugality. I look forward to reading her blog every day because it always adds a bit more tranquility and creativity into my day.

  2. I like to check out Thriftymommy.com for all kinds of tips and ideas. I think every Mom could use the ideas these ladies put out there every day!

  3. When you left About.com, I went elsewhere looking for my frugal fix, and encountered http://www.frugalforlife.blogspot.com along the way.

  4. Sorry, but I forgot to add these two sites:
for lots of homemade creations, and beginner frugal living advice and http://babycheapskate.blogspot.com/
for more baby and mom info. I read these pretty much every day and they're always good! To add to Rob's post, I read frugal for life as well.

  5. Thanks, everyone. I'd like to get these listed on the community so I can refer to them when I start reviewing.

Rob, have you been to the forums at The Dollar Stretcher? That's where I am now, and I guarantee you that you can get your frugal fix there. :)

(The link is in the post)

  6. I also read Meredith's blog daily http://likemerchantships.blogspot.com it brings so much joy to my life!
Another favourite site is www.prairiehomemaker.com, a Christian forum with frugal minded ladies.
    Johanna from Finland

  7. Hi, I'm brand new to blogging, and have started a site about the many incentives that there are to frugalize our lives. They include (but are not limited to) saving money, saving our planet, and living simply. It's my attempt to tie these topics together, and I hope you'll find it interesting!

  8. http://frugalsinglemom.blogspot.com/

I have my favorites listed on the right side of my blog towards the bottom of the page. Several Freebie sites and your Frugal sites listed.

I'm busy at work and home, so I apologize for not going to the Stretcher site.

  9. Pat-I like Like Merchant Ships, Stop the Ride, Live-Frugal, The Motherload, Frugal Homemaker Plus. . . . oh, I'm sure I'm missing a bunch. There are plenty to check out now on the "frugal Blogroll" as well.

Oh, and of course me. . .

  10. Thanks, everyone! I have a list of links from here and those on the community forum to choose from. The first review will be this week, but I'm not sure which day yet, since there are other things going on, too.
