I couldn't have said it better myself...

Fun with frugality is anything but frivolous fun. It's a serious look at what consumerism is doing to our world.

Or at what we're doing to it, rather, and why? The question needs an answer.


  1. Very interesting post - if only we could do this (gathereing water bottles or anything else) in the US without - being considered homeless, penniless, breaking the law. We, here in the US, simply do not have the same awareness of worth as do many in other countries.

  2. That's very true. Even where/when it's legal, most of us hesitate because of the reasons you state: "Only" homeless, destitute people do "things like that." It's a shame.
