I've been workin'

And here's what I've been working on:

This Christian Life

It's sort of resurrected from a site I used to have. Some of the content is from then, some is fresh. You won't know the difference unless you happen to remember it from a few years ago.

It just feels like the right time to get it back online. What do you think of it?

  2. Thanks, Bevlion. I'll pass on the comment about Aunt Emma to Bev Browitt, who wrote it. It's one of my favorites, too.

  3. Oh Pat! That was just what I needed today.
Thank you for the Aunt Emma story. A dear lady in our church passed away this morning after a LONG battle with cancer. Her testimony was one of sweetness, grace, and dignity even when she was in agonizing pain. She made our walk here on earth a little more heavenly, and she will be missed. Aunt Emma's story reminds me of her, so it was very timely. Thank you again.
As for the prosperity gospel...I agree with you completely. I know too many godly Christians who live in physical poverty, but spiritual wealth. by They don't necessarily get material blessings and riches, but they are some of the richest people I know. They see God provide for their needs in mighty and miraculous ways that have God's fingerprints all over!

  4. Thank you, Stacy. I will pass on your comments about Aunt Emma to Bev Browitt, too. There are no greater riches than the riches of God's grace and care!
