In a hurry for a meal?

Don't stop by the hamburger joint or the pizza place... this is better:

Healthy and Fast Food


  1. Yummy! I actually made "fast food" for dinner last night, but it wasn't particularly "fast" to cook. Homemade hamburgers and sweet potato french fries. They hit the spot!! (My family mentioned they actually like my burgers better than any fast "food" (I use that term loosely!) restaurant.

    Nachos are another quick meal we enjoy. Brown some ground beef with onions, peppers, chili powder, cumin, and whatever other spices you like. Add a bit of salsa to get the meat to the sloppy consistency of your choice. Top with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, avocados, sour cream, and anything else that suits you. Serve over chips, and call it done!

  2. Your nachos sound good! I can make hamburgers at home faster than I can go to the fast food place, order, wait and then bring them home. Of course you can eat there, but home is more comfortable. :)
