How to Get Rid of Mice in Your Home

If your home is plagued by mice, you may feel that you will never get rid of them. Food, drawers, cupboards and walls may be under attack.

Mice will eat just about anything, but sweets and seeds are their favorites. Seeds include everything from grass seed to salted sunflower seeds and everything in between. The tiniest crumb or seed will beckon to mice, but a sack of grass seed or an unprotected chocolate cake really calls them!

Since I have chickens it attracts mice because of the food. I use poison not because I like too but because we have to. Being that a mouse may come into the yard and eat the chicken food he may set up house and attract more mice. By using poison the mouse comes in but doesn't come back out to invite his friends. I have had only two mice in my yard and home in the past 6 years!

Yes, poison is one of the options in the article. Everyone has to make their own choices.

Yes, mice seem to have very personal tastes... When we moved to this tiny house, we had a mice problem. We found out that they loved my rose scented soap! And that is how we got them (with old fasioned traps), but it was a very dear soap to me... :-)
